Structural engineering for heavy lift and transport.
Advanced FEA, lift planning, and sea fastening for shipbuilders, offshore operators, and fabricators — worldwide.
Engineering judgment, not just calculation.
I'm a mechanical engineer with 8+ years across the offshore wind energy, marine, and shipbuilding sectors — including seven years with Bright Engineering B.V. in the Netherlands.
Throughout my experience, I've modelled real structures to analyse how they behave under different loading conditions. My expertise ranges from running static linear analysis on large-scale global models, including full-beam ship models, to truncated models tested against cyclic loading using advanced non-linear FEA.
I am currently providing my services as an engineer to a major shipbuilder in Canada, designing and verifying lift and transport plans for ship blocks — engineered around the cranes and SPMTs available in the yard. Every deliverable is produced within a regulated engineering environment, reviewed and signed off by a licensed Professional Engineer before release.

Two ways to bring me in.
On your engineering team
Extra FEA and verification capacity for your existing structural team — independent model checks, lift and transport analysis, and a second pair of eyes that catches problems before production.
On a self-contained scope
Small, well-defined engineering packages I can own end to end — a lift plan, a sea fastening calculation, an FEA review — delivered within a regulated environment, P.Eng signed off.
Available for contract and overflow work — remote, or on-site across North America.
Have a structural problem that needs solving?
Open to contract and freelance work — offshore, marine, shipbuilding, and heavy industry.
